Street photography with a vintage Zuiko 35mm lens

These days I decided to make a round through the city of Lucerne for a short street photography session. So I grabbed my Canon R6 and grabbed one of my vintage objectives, the Olympus Zuiko 35mm f2.8

How I got to use a vintage Zuiko lens I’ll write in another blog, but for now let’s see what cought my eye during this relaxing walk:

The lens is fully manual and I have to admit it, it is a true delight and satisfaction to go out there and shoot with it. The fact that it is a fully manual piece makes you think twice before taking the shot, but it also forces you to use the right aperture for your situation.

In a next blog I’ll tell you how I got to love these beautiful pieces of glass from Zuiko, that are almost 50 years old but still deliver high quality pictures with a special unique character.
